Fujifilm Medical Systems is highlighting a report from a British hospital that found the company's digital radiography (DR) retrofit systems enhanced the facility's performance.
The installation of two Fuji DR retrofit systems last year helped Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital tend to more patients and meet its target of examining within 30 minutes 90% of patients who did not have appointments. The hospital had been missing the target in recent years due to growth in procedure volume.
After installation of the Fuji retrofits in November 2015, the imaging department met its 90% target for four months consistently between December 2015 and March 2016, according to the report. The average daily throughput increased in the Fuji DR rooms by 40% and 32%, respectively.
