An increase in system sales helped propel orthopedic digital imaging developer EOS Imaging to a 28% increase in revenue in its second quarter.
For the period (end-30 June), EOS had record revenues of 8.1 million euros, up from the 6.9 million euros booked in the second quarter last year. The firm sold 18 EOS systems in the second quarter, compared with 14 in the same period a year ago.
Revenues for the first half of 2016 reached 14.1 million euros, up 39% from the 10.2 million euros recorded in the first half of 2015. EOS said it sold a total of 28 systems in the first six months of the year, compared with 20 in the first half of 2015. The company credited continued momentum in the U.S. market for the sales growth.
