Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Riverain Technologies has received the CE Mark for marketing its ClearRead CT software in the European Union.
ClearRead CT incorporates Riverain's patent-pending ClearRead CT vessel-suppression algorithm, designed to enhance nodule conspicuity to identify and characterize nodules and reduce reading time. The software also processes CT scans from a variety of manufacturers and acquisition protocols.
ClearRead CT currently is under review for clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
