Ultrasound therapy provider Theraclion has signed an agreement for its Echopulse system to be distributed by Alteris in Poland.
Theraclion also received approval from the Polish Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices, and Biocidal Products to market Echopulse in Poland.
Alteris will install the first Echopulse unit at the Katowice Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Centre in September.
Echopulse is designed to treat breast fibroadenomas and benign thyroid nodules as an alternative to traditional surgery. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis.
