The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) and Siemens Healthcare are teaming up to offer a research award for researchers in the fields of radiology, radiotherapy, oncology, radiography, or medical physics.
The BIR Siemens Research Award will provide 1,000 pounds (1,265 euros) for initial financial support to enable researchers to develop proposals with the aim of attracting further funding from external sources, according to the BIR.
