GE Healthcare has signed a licensing deal with medical imaging software developer Mirada Medical.
GE will have rights to Mirada's automatic atlas-based contouring software for implementation on GE's AdvantageSim MD 9 virtual simulation software suite for advanced radiation therapy planning.
The technology is based on Mirada's registration software, which is designed to align image data for radiation therapy planning.
