Danish software vendor Medical Insight has installed its EasyViz Viewer as part of the Tele-AVC telemedicine project, which is designed to enable teleconsultation in cases of cerebrovascular accidents to improve the quality and speed of patient treatment.
Tele-AVC is designed to enable emergency room staff to receive neurological consultation anytime through a telemedicine network.
Four hospitals located in the lower Normandy region in France are connected to the telemedicine network, which includes local archives, one regional archive, a secured server, and an enterprise viewer.
