Agfa HealthCare has signed a five-year contract with University Hospitals Birmingham National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust to provide an Impax PACS to replace its existing PACS.
The managed service contract includes both hardware and software. Impax reporting will be embedded in the PACS. Impax business intelligence software is also included in the contract.
The system will be interfaced with the hospitals' existing radiology information system.
