Spire Portsmouth Hospital has become one of the first adopters of Siemens Healthcare's Multix Fusion general radiography system in the U.K., the company announced.
Multix Fusion, available in both analog and digital versions, offers enhanced contrast via the company's DiamondView Plus postprocessing tool, and uses cesium iodide-based digital detectors for intelligent dose reduction, according to Siemens. The system's small footprint enables it to fit in most existing x-ray rooms, the company noted.
