GE Healthcare has opened its first technical product training center in Europe, in Budapest, the company said.
The Europe Training Center will offer opportunities for field service professionals from across Europe and the Eastern and African growth markets (the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Central Asia, and Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States countries) to attend technical product trainings for GE Healthcare's x-ray, surgery, mammography, CT, and vascular products, according to GE. The training will be provided by Hungarian specialists and qualified trainers.
The new training center is GE's second, with the other being in Wisconsin, U.S. It includes two dedicated x-ray-shielded training cells, which incorporate a variety of systems, as well as two dedicated rooms for the theory portion of technical training courses, GE said.
