Copenhagen University Hospital in Herlev, Denmark, is the first hospital in Scandinavia to acquire radiation oncology firm Elekta's Clarity soft-tissue visualization system, the company said in a statement.
The facility will use Clarity to further quantify the value of 3D ultrasound in boosting the precision of radiation therapy by combining CT with ultrasound images for visualization of soft tissues, Elekta said.
