Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has completed the first U.K. installation of its Calypso tracking system, the company said.
The Harley Street Clinic in London is using the system's real-time tracking to enhance the precision and quality of treatments for more than 20 prostate cancer patients to date, according to Varian, which adds that more than 100 Calypso installations globally and more than 15,000 patients worldwide have been treated using the system.
