Toshiba Medical Systems Europe plans to introduce a cardiovascular package for its Aplio series of ultrasound systems at the upcoming European Society of Cardiology (ESC) meeting in Munich, the company said.
Toshiba's Picture Perfect Ultrasound package can be used with Aplio 300, 400, and 500 scanners. It features tissue enhancement for image quality in transthoracic and transesophageal imaging, flexible M-Mode, comprehensive measurement programs, a reporting module, a stress echo imaging tool, and software for automatic measurement of intima-media thickness (IMT), according to the firm.
