Computer Sciences (CSC) has signed a nonbinding letter of intent with the U.K. Department of Health (NHS) to determine a way for the company to deliver healthcare IT products and services in support of NHS' reform agenda.
Part of the plan for CSC is to deliver additional implementations of its Lorenzo electronic health record software, adding to 10 existing implementations.
Beyond Lorenzo, CSC has provided a range of products and services to the NHS, including digital imaging, general practitioner, ambulance, and community healthcare IT software systems.
The company anticipates submitting its plan by the end of this month.
