Dear PACS Insider,
Although the EuroPACS organization has already been involved in imaging informatics, the society's name did not reflect that level of participation. As a result, the association has changed its name and adopted a new mission statement that clearly articulates a broader vision.
EuroPACS has now become the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII). The society's vision is the integration of information and communication technology with diagnostic and therapeutic medical imaging, according to EuSoMII President Dr. Emanuele Neri.
Neri shares all the details on the society's new identity and focus in an article for AuntMinnieEurope.com, which you can access here.
