AGFA HealthCare has reached a new deal with Alliance Medical to implement advanced cloud-based software across all of Alliance Medical’s U.K. sites.
Powered by the AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Platform, this approach supports Alliance Medical U.K.'s Future Unified Diagnostic Information System (FUDIS) project, which aims to streamline the entire patient pathway.
The software's deployment will begin later in 2024, with a phased implementation approach to transition all imaging services across 120 sites for all of Alliance Medical’s U.K. community diagnostic centers, static imaging sites for PET-CT, MRI, CT, and other imaging modalities, and its fleet of mobile, modular, and relocatable units.
The software includes the AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Platform, with shared workflow and the Xero Exchange Network. It allows for near-real-time access to images and delivers tools and features for diagnosis, collaboration, workflow, and more. It also has fully embedded AI and advanced visualization tools for molecular imaging that support complex clinical workflows.
