Annalise.ai has been selected as a preferred provider by six imaging networks in England as part of the National Health Service’s (NHS) new AI Diagnostic Fund (AIDF).
The announcement means that Annalise.ai’s software for analyzing chest x-rays will now be available in Greater Manchester, North East and North Cumbria Imaging Network, Cheshire and Merseyside Radiology Imaging Network, East Midlands Imaging Network, Surrey, Sussex and Frimley Imaging Network, and the Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative, according to the vendor.
The company’s software is designed to enable rapid detection of up to 124 findings on chest x-rays, including indicators of potential lung cancer, and prioritizes cases according to the urgency of detected findings.
The AIDF was established to accelerate the deployment of AI imaging and decision support tools and provides £21 million (€24.7 million) to 12 imaging networks, covering 66 NHS trusts across England, the company noted.
