The U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is gearing up to launch its AI registry. The central aim is to provide a comprehensive directory of all National Health Service (NHS) sites using AI tools as part of their imaging work.
The RCR said this will help with easier adoption of AI in medical imaging by informing healthcare professionals, researchers, and decision-makers of how AI applications can be used in clinical practice.
The registry is set to be completed by spring 2024 with funding by the NHS. The college said the data collection phase is currently open. It encourages people who have an AI product currently in use to fill in the RCR's survey.
