The Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Hospital in Munich, Germany, has established a partnership with Deepc to further deploy artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms through the company's deepcOS operating system.
Through the deepcOS platform, radiologists can gain access to numerous regulatory-cleared AI algorithms designed to help create more efficient workflows and improve patient treatment, according to the university. Algorithms for fracture recognition, orthopedic applications, and detection of intracranial hemorrhage have already been made available.
LMU Hospital is one of the largest facilities in Europe, treating over 500,000 patients annually at its two sites.
