The European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical and Healthcare IT Industry (COCIR) has published a library of use cases on artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare.
The use cases detail how healthcare providers are embedding AI technology to help optimize workflows, in addition to showing how AI is being utilized by caregivers in both decision support and autonomous decision-making roles, according to the organization. COCIR said the case studies cover a number of clinical fields, including medical imaging/radiology, obstetrics, emergency medicine, and general practice.
The collection will be updated periodically with new use cases to reflect further developments of AI in healthcare, the organization noted.
