Global shipments of diagnostic displays will grow at a 5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2014 and 2018, according to a report from DisplaySearch, a subsidiary of IHS.
Although large high-resolution displays are increasingly in demand, 21.3-inch displays had a 67% share of unit shipments and a 65% share of revenues in the first half of 2014.
Displays with 6 to 10 megapixels and higher will become more prevalent as users shift from multiple screens to single-screen viewing, DisplaySearch found.
