NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) said it chose the MEDICA World Forum for Medicine International Trade Fair held last week in Dusseldorf, Germany to unveil a suite of advanced imaging displays.
The ultrasharp collection starts with the 27" Radiance ultra high-bright surgical display to be released in 2015. Among the brightest displays offered, recessed anatomy is more easily visualized during endoscopic procedures, and proprietary color calibration improves image consistency room to room, the company said. At the same time, edge-to-edge glass allows for fast disinfection and faster turnaround in the operating room.
Technology on display includes 4K-resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels, ultra-HD) medical imaging displays and advanced 3D imaging demonstrations, NDSsi said. NDSsi also showcased the newly released 19" and 32" Radiance G2 high-end surgical monitors, and the affordable 15" and 19" EndoVue HD LED monitors.
