GE unveils products at UKRC 2013

GE Healthcare is showcasing several products at the U.K. Radiological Congress (UKRC), being held in Liverpool from 10 to 12 June.

A new offering called One Services includes proactive system management and technical intelligence solutions and consulting services, to help increase performance and productivity.

Also of note, GE is featuring its Centricity PACS with Universal Viewer product, which offers advanced visualization and an integrated workflow, enabling clinicians to work across modalities. An in-built artificial intelligence feature learns how clinicians like to arrange their images, saving additional time as they work, GE said.

The company will also demonstrate the latest version of its RIS software, which will soon be installed along with Centricity PACS in the four hospital trusts of the Kent & Medway Medical Imaging Consortium, including the East Kent National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust.

Finally, the company is showcasing Centricity Clinical Archive, a multisite vendor-neutral archive for multiple medical specialties; Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Viewer, an enterprise-wide application to access images and reports through connectivity with an electronic medical record; and RISi with eRadcockpit, a Web-based reporting platform that allows radiologists to rationalize their reporting workflow, access information and second opinions, and share workloads and reporting remotely across sites.
