Agfa to highlight DR units at RSNA 2011

Agfa HealthCare plans to highlight a new DX-D 100 mobile digital radiography (DR) unit with a wireless detector at the upcoming RSNA 2011 meeting in Chicago.

DX-D 100 features a wireless detector for flexibility in mobile environments such as intensive care units (ICUs), emergency departments, operating rooms, or bedside examinations, according to Agfa.

The company will also highlight its DX-D 300 unit, which includes a motorized U-arm; the work-in-progress DX-D 400 system, which offers facilities a way to easily upgrade to digital and can be used with film cassettes, DR, and computed radiography (CR); DX-D 600, an automated ceiling-mounted direct digital x-ray room (not yet available in the U.S. and Canada); and DX-D 800, a digital x-ray room that combines fluoroscopy, radiography, and direct exposures (not yet available in the U.S. and Canada), Agfa said.
