Hyperfine said it has entered into three distribution agreements for bringing its portable MRI brain imaging Swoop system to market in France, the U.K., and Italy.
The system the company is introducing to the European markets is commercialized in the U.S., according to Hyperfine. In 2023, the company obtained CE certification and UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) certification in the U.K. for its latest hardware and eighth-generation AI-powered software. Enrico Barini also joined the company as international business development director.
"The use of the Swoop system in Alzheimer’s disease and acute stroke represent significant additional opportunities for our business globally,” said Hyperfine President and CEO Maria Sainz in a statement.
