France's MRI crisis; actionable reports & teleradiology; 3D tool for rib evaluations

It's widely known that France lags behind the rest of Europe when it comes to MRI, but the situation appears to be getting worse, according to a new report on MRI waiting times. At least one senior radiologist believes the long waiting times represent a disaster.

A new study of MRI use at a hospital in Ireland paints a complex picture of the modality, with higher in-hospital mortality and longer hospital stays for patients who got MRI examinations.
