Isotope technology firm Eckert & Ziegler has appointed Harald Hasselmann, PhD, as its new commercial managing director for sales and finances.
Effective from 1 October, Hasselmann will head the company along with Edgar Löffler, PhD, who is responsible for technical operations. He replaces Abel Luzuriaga, who has been managing director for sales and marketing at Eckert & Ziegler since 2012.
Hasselmann has previously served as head controller for Europe at Bayer Pharma, managing director at Schering's Hungarian subsidiary, and director of the Berlin-based biotech company metaGen, the company said.
