Erasmus University Medical Center (Erasmus MC) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, will deploy Qure.ai’s qXR chest x-ray software as well as its lung nodule management platform, qTrack.
Over the next year, 100,000 chest x-rays will be reviewed at Erasmus MC using qXR, which will be integrated into the hospital’s radiology workflow, the hospital said. Meanwhile, qTrack will help ensure timely follow-ups and coordination for patients. The deployment is part of a study that aims to detect and follow up incidental pulmonary nodules in patient using AI and digital healthcare coordination tools, the hospital said.
Erasmus MC is affiliated with Erasmus University. The hospital has 1,233 beds, 121 in ICU, and is home to the university’s faculty of medicine.
