After completing her medical studies at the University College Dublin, Dr. Amy Schranz, PhD, made the switch to working as a radiology resident at the University of Ottawa in Canada.
In a video interview, she talks about her journey and experiences and what it's like working in a Canadian hospital compared with an Irish one. She also describes her involvement as first author of a recent study about a point-of-care clinical decision support tool that reduced the number of patients who simultaneously had a CT and MRI ordered for the same clinical indication compared to a standalone web-based clinical decision support tool.
