Twenty years ago -- or perhaps even 10 -- it was inconceivable that the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) might post a blog on how a black radiologist feels working in a largely white community. Under the guidance of RCR President Dr. Kath Halliday, the college now regularly addresses sensitive topics like diversity and burnout. Halliday and her colleagues deserve praise for their brave approach.
