The European Society of Radiology (ESR) Board of Directors has established the Prof. Laura Oleaga Educational Grant. The grant aims to recognize the contributions to radiology education made by Prof. Laura Oleaga, who has worked as scientific director of the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) since ECR 2018.
Eligibility for the grant is limited to radiology residents with a successful academic history and a career path showing four or more years of training and supervised practical experience at the time of application. Candidates residing in countries where the EDiR is officially recognized, as well as in "ESR Meets" countries at ECR 2024, can apply.
In the upcoming year, three educational grants will be awarded for the EDiR exam scheduled at ECR 2024 on 27 February. The grant includes attendance at the EDiR Simulation and Webinar in December 2023, participation in the EDiR exam at ECR 2024, travel support of up to 1,000 euros for flights and/or accommodation, and complimentary registration for ECR.
