The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has appointed Dr. Qaiser Malik as its Medical Director for Membership and Business.

In this post, Malik will take point on cross-faculty areas of work, as well as work closely with RCR President Dr. Kath Halliday. Such responsibilities include helping with effective membership value and engagement for all, meaning that equality, diversity, and inclusion are set in the RCR's work.
Malik is a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist and clinical director of radiology at Mid and South Essex National Health Service (NHS) Trust, as well as the lead medical appraiser for Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine.
Among his interests include musculoskeletal MRI and ultrasound, including ultrasound-guided procedures. He also specializes in imaging and treating sports injuries.
