The Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) has announced that its journal, Radiologia, has achieved an impact factor of 1.3. This is the first time the publication has received an impact factor, it said.
The journal was founded in 1912. The current editor in chief is Dr. Cristina García Villar. It is published every two months in Spanish and English editions, with all articles subject to a rigorous double-blind review process, SERAM noted.
In addition to original papers, the journal published brief communications, reviews, imaging cases, clinical notes, and book reviews, and it is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (Thomson Reuters), Medline, Scopus, and EMBASE/Excerpta Médica.
