The European Society of Radiology (ESR) has received 4,200 registrations thus far for its upcoming Radiology Connecting Disciplines, or connAction, event to be held 1 to 2 June in Vienna, Austria.
ConnAction will take place during the ESR's annual leadership meeting. It will be both live and streamed, and it will cover current approaches to disease diagnosis and treatment. Experts will include panels of surgeons, oncologists, urologists, hepatologists, physicists, cardiologists, and neurologists, according to the ESR.
"This event has been designed to provide you with real examples of what can be achieved when radiologists work in synergy with their partners' physicians," Prof. Dr. Regina Beets-Tan, ESR board of directors chair, said in an ESR statement. "Together, we will find medical solutions that may not have been visible before. You will come away from connAction with clear recommendations for clinical practice and directions for the future."
