Therapixel recently released an updated version of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based MammoScreen software that is able to use prior mammograms in its analysis.
The company said MammoScreen can detect and characterize suspicious soft-tissue lesions and calcifications in mammography and tomosynthesis images, as well as evaluate their levels of suspicion via a scoring system of 1 to 10.
The updated version uses an AI algorithm trained from a database of more than 8 million prior images to detect changes in the present mammogram.
