Pat Symonds, Formula 1's chief technical officer, will be the opening plenary speaker for the 2022 UK Imaging & Oncology (UKIO) Congress in Liverpool on Monday 4 July at 9 a.m. British Summer Time.
Symonds was tasked at F1 with setting up future regulations and transitioning to a low-carbon economy. He will speak on team safety, and after his talk, attendees can try out a full-size F1 simulator.
UKIO 2022 will be held from 4 to 6 July. The program will include more than 100 sessions aimed at a multidisciplinary audience. The urology track will feature sessions on acute renal colic, the prostate pathway, practice before and after COVID-19, and interactive case reviews.
