The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has launched the Sanjiv Sam Gambhir Young Investigator Award in partnership with Stanford University and with support from Telix Pharmaceuticals.
Junior members of the EANM in good standing can apply for the award, which will provide the recipient with a visit of up to three months to Stanford University, according to the association. Applicants must submit a simple CV and statement letter to the EANM by 30 April 2022.
Four short-listed nominees will then compete for the award in a session at the EANM's onsite congress in October in Barcelona, Spain.
Gambhir, a molecular imaging expert, died of cancer in July 2020 at the age of 57.
