PACS vendor Telemis has made available a new version of its PACS/MACS platform, Telemis-Medical.
Telemis-Medical 4.96 enables medical professionals to determine the volume of nodules present on lung surfaces. The nodule volume can be automatically calculated, then visualized via either multiplanar reconstruction or volume rendering technique, and estimates can be made as to the volume doubling time of these nodules, according to the vendor based in Belgium.
Furthermore, improvements, including augmenting the filtering of certain modalities and offering more minimization/restitution options, have been made to the previewer.
