Philips has secured a 10-year, 18-million-euro contract with University Hospital Brandenburg an der Havel in Germany to provide the facility with diagnostic and image-guided therapy technology.
Under terms of the deal, Philips will provide the hospital with upgraded hybrid operating room and interventional suites, as well as training and education for hospital physicians and radiographers through its Icarus learning academy.
The contract will include ultrasound, MRI, and mobile x-ray systems, as well as the company's image-guided therapy system, Azurion.
