The European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII) and the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS) plan to partner on supporting further development of the medical imaging informatics field.
The partnership will concentrate on producing teaching courses and webinars, supporting research, and publishing statements, guidelines, and white papers regarding imaging informatics. It was prompted in part because "radiographers have been identified by EuSoMII as one of the most important user groups of imaging informatics," the two organizations said in a statement issued on 12 July.
The collaboration may also result in a certificate or diploma in imaging informatics recognized by both EFRS and EuSoMII, according to the two societies.
