RCR unveils standardized radiotherapy consent forms

The U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has released new patient consent forms to help standardize the process for adults with cancer who are undergoing radiotherapy.

Forms cover radiotherapy for cancer at the following sites:

  • Breast
  • Prostate
  • Head and neck
  • Esophageal
  • Lung (for stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and conventional fractionation regimes)
  • Rectal
  • Skin

Also, an adaptable generic consent form is available. Other forms will be released in the upcoming months. The forms can be accessed here.
