Philips Healthcare parent company Royal Philips has signed a three-year consulting agreement with Mid and South Essex National Health Services (NHS) Foundation Trust in the U.K.
The trust recently consolidated its radiology services across three hospital sites: Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, and Southend University NHS Foundation Trust all merged in April 2020 to become Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Philips will help the trust determine which pieces of imaging equipment should be upgraded or replaced. The trust provides a range of clinical services for more than 1.2 million people across central and south Essex, Philips said.
