The French Society of Radiology (SFR) has announced plans to develop the international coverage at its annual meeting, Journées Francophones de Radiologie Diagnostique et Interventionnelle (JFR) 2019, to be held in Paris in October.
The meeting will include three sessions offered in partnership with the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP) that will focus on musculoskeletal and genitourinary imaging; a program in English focused on abdominal and digestive imaging, genitourinary, neuroradiology, and pediatric imaging; and sessions dedicated to the Moroccan Society of Radiology (SMR) and the Mexican Society of Radiology (SMRI).
All sessions conducted in English will be translated simultaneously, the SFR said.
As well, SFR has invited more than 41 junior radiologists from 20 countries to the meeting and will establish an "International Village" where attendees can meet representatives from the Colombian Association of Radiology, the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the SMR, and the SMRI. At the meeting, the SFR will also honor four international radiologists for their work in the field, it said.
