The French Society of Radiology (SFR) and French Society of Neuroradiology (SFNR) said they are very sad to announce the death of Dr. Jean-Claude Maillard, who died suddenly on 23 July at the age of 59.
Maillard had a long and brilliant neuroradiological and radiological career, according to the societies. In his role as clinical assistant head in the Department of Neuroradiology of CHU Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris, he contributed to the training of many neuroradiologists and radiologists, they noted.
