Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories has signed a collaboration agreement with U.K. proton therapy technology firm Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO).
AVO has chosen RaySearch's RayStation treatment planning software for the first Linac Image-Guided Hadron Technology (LIGHT) system at the proton therapy facility under construction in central London, according to RaySearch. Most of the order has been delivered and will generate revenue in the second quarter of 2018; the rest of the order will generate revenue over the coming 36 months, the vendor said.
