EMA hosts foundation-laying ceremony in Amsterdam

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) officially laid the foundation stone for its new building in Amsterdam's Zuidas business district during a ceremony on 28 May.

Representatives from the Dutch government, the city of Amsterdam, the Government Real Estate Agency, and the construction company attended the ceremony, which launches the construction of EMA's new building.

Relocation of the EMA from London to its new home in Amsterdam is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2019, with final construction to be finished by November 2019.
