IBA, RaySearch partner on online proton therapy

Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) and treatment planning software firm RaySearch Laboratories will demonstrate their online adaptive proton therapy workflow at the upcoming European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) annual congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The full-size demonstration includes the RayCare oncology information system, the RayTreatment workflow and treatment planning system, the AdaPT Insight imaging platform, and AdaPT Deliver treatment delivery. In online adaptive workflow, daily conebeam CT images are used and matched to the planning CT scans of individual patients.
