Dutch molecular imaging developer MILabs has won a contract for its Vector5 PET/SPECT/optical imaging/CT preclinical scanner at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The system can acquire high-resolution CT, high-definition PET and SPECT, high-energy theranostic, and bioluminescence and fluorescence images, according to the firm. It will be installed in the center's applied molecular imaging facility, and will be used in clinical trials for analysis of radioactive or fluorescent tumor and biopsy samples, MILabs said.
