The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) is offering a free webinar on proton therapy to visitors of its website.
The webinar, Proton Radiotherapy III, is the third in the BIR's series of proton radiotherapy webinars for oncologists, therapeutic radiographers, and physicists. It includes detailed analysis of the objectives of the National Health Service (NHS) England Proton Strategy and the overseas referral program, as well as insight into the development of a protocol for reference dosimetry in scanned proton beams. In addition, the webinar will provide a current update on the operational development of the NHS England proton therapy service, which is scheduled to be operational in Manchester in 2018, the institute said.
The webinar has been accredited for continual professional development. Other live and recorded webinars are available to BIR members as part of their membership, and on a pay-per-view basis to nonmembers.
