Radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems announced that the Research Institute of Clinical Medicine in Tbilisi, Georgia, has begun clinical treatments with its Edge radiosurgery system.
A 68-year-old breast cancer patient was the first person in Georgia to be treated using Edge in combination with respiratory gating, according to the vendor.
